Heard the podcast? The program has evolved since we recorded. I'm now offering 1:1 coaching. Here's how to work with me.

The Problem

You're not too busy
for friendship.

You keep telling yourself: I'm just "too" busy right now.

But busyness isn't always the reason. Sometimes it's the strategy, filling every quiet space in your life because it's in the quiet moments that the loneliness creeps in. So you keep filling them. And somewhere in all that filling, you lose track of what you actually like, and who you'd even do it with.

It was never lack of desire. It was never having a system built to survive a clinical schedule.

This is what I help you work through, not more advice on self-care, but a real system for building and sustaining connection in a life that's actually this full.

How Coaching Works

What's included.

Two private 45-minute sessions per month: dedicated, 1:1 time to work through what's actually getting in the way of connection in your life
A framework, not just conversation: built on IGNiTE, Inventory yourself, Guard your time, Nurture curiosity, Tend the connection, Embrace the hard parts
Real, practical work: identifying what can be delegated or let go to create actual space, rebuilding the capacity to reach out first, and the tools to make a new friendship last past the first coffee

This isn't generic wellness coaching. It's building the skill of connection itself, so you can keep finding and keeping people, long after our work together ends.

The Transformation

From filling the silence
to having someone to fill it with.

When we're done, you won't just feel less lonely. You'll have the actual capacity to build and keep a real friendship, wherever your career takes you next.

You'll know exactly what's been quietly filling the space where connection should be, and what you're willing to let go of to make room. You'll have practiced reaching out first, even when it's uncomfortable, instead of waiting to be chosen. And you'll have, or be actively building, the kind of friendship where you can talk about the stress in your marriage, not just trade logistics in a group text.

This isn't a one-time fix. It's the skill of building connection, so the next move, the next city, the next scattered friend group doesn't undo it.

About Cassie Burton Greenbaum, MD

Built by a physician who needed it herself.

I'm Cassie Burton Greenbaum, MD, a pediatric critical care physician, wife to a wonderfully supportive husband, mom to a 4-year-old, and the woman who sat in her car after long shifts with her hand on her phone and no one to call.

I started a book club. A mahjong group. Met moms at the park. Went to fitness classes. I showed up, but the connections never deepened. After 12 years of training and 3 moves, I looked up and realized I didn't have the community I thought I would have by now.

I built Off Service Mom Co. because I couldn't find what I needed, and I've since learned I'm far from the only woman physician who's felt this. Motherhood was my version of it. Yours might be a cross-country move for fellowship, a new hospital system, or just years of a schedule that never left room to build what you actually needed. The cause looks different for each of us. The isolation feels the same.

This is not a side project. This is the thing I wish had existed for me. It's what I'd want if I were the one still sitting in that car, wondering who I'd even call.

My work on physician loneliness has been featured on KevinMD, and I have been a guest on the Solving for Joy podcast.
